LEAK: DJI Cendence Gets FCC Clearance, Pre-Order On Now

Checking our Inbox in the morning is always fun.  We never know what news or rumor will be in there, or who, or where, it will come from.

Today it was news that the DJI Cendence remote controller received it’s FCC clearance, freeing it up for sale in the USA.

DJI Cendence FCC Label Location

Earlier this week DJI released details of it’s new Cendence remote controller which is custom built for the DJI Inspire 2 drone.

But DJI didn’t stop there.

DJI simultaneously unveiled a high-powered signal amplifier, the Tracktenna, and CrystalSky super-bright display to round out the package.

But back to the Cendence.

This is not your grandfather’s remote control.  With over 10 customizable buttons, multi-drone capability and the abilitity to pair with a second remote control the Cendence has no limits.

Separate Dials, Levers and Knobs to control focus, direction, gimbal pitch, and yaw? Check.

Programmable shortcut buttons for a specific group of settings or to save frequently used settings? Check.

Button Combinations like rotating the dials or toggling the levers while holding certain buttons to control gimbal roll, shutter speed, aperture or ISO? Check.

It’s like having all of the controls of a Digitial SLR in your remote control combined with an X-Box control.  On sterioids.

Because after you worked out all of the functions and button combinations you’ll notice all of the ports in the Cendence.

SDI and HDMI ports support broadcasting at 1080i50 and 720p60.  The on board CAN port allos you to connect DJI Focus, the new Tracktenna and other compatible accessories.

DJI Tracktenna

Using Tracktenna you can achieve stable and high-bandwidth transmission over long distance at 2.GHz or 5.8 GHz frequency bands.  When used with the Inspire 2, Tracktenna can achieve a maximum data transmission speed of 10 Mbps within a 2 km range.

And yes, it still comes with a USB-A port to connect other mobile devices.

The CrystalSky display (which is now available for pre-order) is custom built for Cendence.  Or is it the other way around?

What’s great is Cendence and CrystalSky use identical batteries for enhanced synergy.  If you run out of power just swap in a charged batter or use the power port.

Cendence Mobile Device Holder

Additional accessories include a Support Rig to carry the weight of the controller on longer flights.  Control Stick Covers help to prevent dust from entering the device to ensure smooth, reliable control.  And if you want to use your mobile device instead of a CrystalSky, there’s a Mobile Device Holder for you.

Together the Cendence, Tracktenna and CrystalSky monitor form the ultimate trinity of advanced drone control.

And what makes it even better is that they are all available for pre-order now.
